SweScrapbook: Growing old with Mo Manning!

Today I'd like to show you a card that I made for my hubby on our 7th anniversary. I made it as an inspirational card for SweScrapbook as well. Sad news... I have decided to step down from the SweScrapbook DT - the girlies there are great and I've been with them for the past two years but I felt that it was time.... So a fond farewell to SweScrapbook from me!

This is the card I made - featuring one of the stunning image from Mo Manning. I couldn't help but go with this one as I really hope to be able to grow old with my DH... :-D

I've used papers from Maja Design, old ones by now but still just as gorgeous as ever!!! The metal embellishment is actually one that I cut in half to make it fit my card better... The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Here is the stunning image! I used my Copics to color... I think I will have to yank out my distress inks today so they won't feel left out... ;-D

Stunning flowers... Wild Orchid and Petaloo... and some from my stash as well... The sentiment is printed from the computer. (says "on our anniversay...."

More flowers...

Thank's for stopping by today!! I wish you all a magical day! And hey..... it's FRIDAY!!!!!!

DT DigiBells: February Flutter!

Today I'm showcasing a card for Elisabeth Bell over at DigiBells. I've used an image that I've even forgotten I had for this card but it is soooooo sweet and it reminds me so much of TinkerBell and the movie called "the secret of the wings". My boys have both taken it to hart and we watch it all the time!

This is my card with the image February Flutter, you can find it in Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection.

The papers are from Prima and I've used lace to decorate....

The image colored with Copics... Added looooots of Stickles as well!

Some of the flowers.... The cherry blossoms are from I am Roses and I got them from En liten Butik...

More flowers... and a charm from Hobbyhärvan...

This gorgeous sentiment was a freebee from Katrynne Art Stamps... Don't you just got to love it!?!?

Have a magical day my sweet friends!!!

A card with Lazy Mutt from Mo Manning!

Today I have a card to show that I made for my mother's friend who turned 65 yrs old a while ago. She loves dogs and earthy colors, so my mother asked for a dog as an image and a green/yellowish/mustard colored card. This is what I made.... :-D

This is the card up front. I've used papers from Mo Bunny and Prima. The lady bug border punch is from Martha Stewart - isn't it cute?!?!

Here is a close up on the image - I used distress colors to color him. He sleeps soooo peacefully :-D

Behind the image I have hid another -  he seems to sleep less peacefully here, don't you think? This images come in the same download together with a third one and my mum want them all on the front, but this is how it had to turn out - I could'nt fit them all on the front.

Here is a close up on the second image - I made him a bit smaller... The perk of using digis - they come in whatever size you want.... :-D

Thank you for visiting me today! Have a magical day!

DT CMS - The cutest little fly boy!

Today it's my turn to post on the Copic Marker Sweden blog. I made a card featuring the cutest ever little fly boy from Whiff of Joy.

The papers are from Bo Bunny and the tag is Magnolia. If you skip on over to Copic Marker Sweden you can see what markers I used to color him up.

The card is made by a sketch from Sketchy Colors so I'd like to enter my card to that challenge.

DT Whiff of Joy Challenge: Anything but a card!

Today the new challenge at The Whiff of Joy is "ANYTHING BUT A CARD"! I just loooove those challenges!! Makes want to go wild and do anything but today I only went wild with the embellishments as I just made an ordinary layout.

The Whiff of Joy on my layout is the sentiment - "To the world you may be only one person, but to one person you may be the world". That is sooo true! Never let anyone bring you down and say that you are nothing - you are the world to someone else. The picture is of my eldest son and his father and there is no misstake - these two share a special bond :-D

Here is a detail picture....

This layout was acctually made a while back at a crop that I went to in Avesta, a small town in Sweden. I made it almost only with Prima goodies. The papers, bling swirls, flowers, flying gees.... I love how all the colors just fits so well together.

I hope you will have fun with our challenge - can't wait to see what you will come up with!
