DT Paradise of Stamps - Boy cards!

Today it's time for a reminder of the ongoing challenge at Paradise of Stamps and we want you to make boy cards... you still have a whole week to go.

This is my take on the challenge.... My father's birthday card... shhhh... no telling! It's a week away but he's not known to be lurking around in here. :-)

I have used papers from Maja Design and the lovely sketch is made by a friend. I added lots of maritime themed decorations. The die cuts are from a set from Joy/Noor Design.

Here is a close up on the image by Mo Manning from a set called Sailor Boys Set. If you'd like to know what colors I have used then they are all listed on the Copic Marker Sweden blog.

Thank you for visiting me today!

Wishing you a magical day!

DT The Sketchy Challenges: Sketch and theme!

Sorry but i was running a bit behind... This was ment to go live on Saturday when we launched a new challenge at The Sketchy Challenges. My teamie Kirsty-Anne made a gorgeous sketch and set the theme for Card or Pocket Letter. You do know you can go for the sketch, the theme or both right?

Anyways... I have not figured out pocket letter just yet so I went with a card using the lovely sketch.

I used Maja Design Papers from the collection Vintage Winter. The Stacked Stars are a die from Memory Box.

A close up on one of my all time fav image from hÄnglar and stÄnglar. Colored with Copic Markers.

Added pearls, metal snowflakes, flowers, ribbons... some bells...

The amazing God Jul die below is from KaBoks (the text means Merry Christimas).

More flowers...

The sentiment is from Svenska Textstämplar. Added it to a snowflake and made a tag out of it.

That's it for me today! Thank's for stopping by!

Have a magical day!

DT Paradise of Magnolias - Monochromatic!

Today we start a new challenge at Paradise of Magnolia and this time we'd like to see "Monochromatic" work.

This is what I did.... A Christmas card in earthy tones.

The papers are from Maja Design. and I added a snowflake doily and a snowflake star on the other side. Gold/brown lace and a golden bow along with flowers, pearls and some Christmas bells.

Love this image - Tilda Lucia and the Snowy Circle behind as well. The first time I've ever used either of them even though I have had them a long time.

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I used a Spellbinder frame for it.

The snowflake star...

Thank you for stopping by - love to see you join in the challenge!!

Have a magical day!

Ok, so it's time for a new challenge at Lacy Sunshine and this time we are looking for Winds of change.... it is specified to changes in the seasons.

This is my card.

I have used papers from CartaBella and ohhh how I looove these papers!!! Look at the trees and the owls... How can one cover them up...?

I used Autumn Winds Rory for my card and she is colored with Copic Markers. I have made a spellbinders fram behind the image.... Just had to have this one... :-) Isn't it amazing??

Close up on the flowers and the frame....

Added an owl charm to the flowers on the opposite side.

Thank you for visiting today! Can't wait to see what you create ( you can use any image you'd like - doesn't have to be a Lacy Sunshine).
